Would You Rather Watch Movies Alone?

As we watch our favorite movies, sometimes we prefer wathing them alone especially if you're with someone whose just forcing himself or herself in liking the film, or someone who just asks a lot of questions about what will happen next or why did that happen. For me, its just simply annoying dealing with people like that. I'd so prefer to watch alone than being with someone that keeps on babbling and creating disturbance while you're enjoying your preferred movie. How about you? Would you rather watch movies alone? Or can you stand being with someone even if he or she keeps on talking to you?

I usually like watching movies on my own, as I can't bear it when people insist on talking throughout it. If it's a movie that I'm not particularly bothered about though, I'm happy to watch it with someone else, as I'm probably not paying that much attention myself anyway. If it's one of my favourites, I usually try to encourage other people to watch them if I think they'll like them, but if they talk at me, they're going to be sent away whilst I watch in peace!

I never have tried watching a movie alone and I don't ever want to try that. I think it is pitiful for someone to watch a movie all by himself or herself especially when the genre of the movie is comedy. I always watch movies with a friend, relative or my special someone. It's really odd to see a person going to a theater alone.

I'd rather watch a movie alone if I have to choose between "solo" time or being with an annoying company. Actually, most of the time I watch a movie alone although there are also times I watch with Cathy (my friend) or Apple (my friend) or with my Mom. I don't really enjoy watching movies with more than 5 friends cos we just end up talking to each other.

well, as for me, i prefer watching films with hubby or family... they don't ask questions or talk while the movie is going on.. we usually talk about it over a cup of coffee or while eating at our favorite restaurant..

i love watching movies, whether with a companion or not. it doesn't matter, as long as i love the film, i can watch it alone. and it is better to watch it alone so that you can understand what the story is all about, especially documentary films. but it is more fun and exciting if you watch with your friends comedy movies because you will keep on laughing and laughing. that would be fun. well, i guess , it depends upon the movie you want to watch.

well i like to watch the movies at the cinema hall and if that is not done then i prefer to watch them alone because i like to watch them with full concentration and listen to every line very carefully. yes i generally watch serious movies and so i like to watch them alone so that i can focus on the movie and learn the art as i am pursuing the same filed. but then i have seen when you watch the movie with other then it is some times difficult to concentrate. but yes i do discuss about the movie after i watch that.

Well sometimes i don't have a chioce, espically during the week when the children have gone to bed and I am on my own. Weekends are good as I have hubby here and he works the dvd for me and I can cuddle up to him as well and put my legs over him.

Yup, I would definitely prefer watching movies alone, rather be stuck with people who ask inane questions, even when they have just watched the same scene as you. I simply don't understand them - are they watching the movie or dreaming? I tend to get very irritated, because it would make me lose thread of the next few scenes, while I have to explain to them, whatever they don't understand or missed.

It depends on the movie. I prefer watching simple movies (such Wall-e, Tropic Thunder, Max Payne and so on) with my friends and complex ones (such Lost Highway, Memento, Paprika, Perfect Blue, Mulholland Drive and so on) alone so I can understand everything.
