Going with the flow.

Many times we try to use force or resistance to will our lives into the way that we think they should go, but as many of us know that doesn't always work very well. Perhaps you have the talent to make a good teacher and you love working with children, but everyone tells you that you should go into business or law because that's where the money is. That may be true and you may made more money, perhaps a lot more, but will the work bring you a feeling of satisfaction? Which do you choose, money or happiness? Of course it is not always as simple as that and other things often come into play. Have you ever met someone who was just so relaxed that you knew he had something that most of us had missed somewhere along the way. Such a person has learned to move with the flow of the universe, although she may never have thought of it in that way. There appears to be a rhythm that flows through everything from the sprouting of a summer flower born from a seed planted in the spring, to the growth cycle of every human being and the current that takes us down the pathway of life. When we move with the current, rather than resisting it, we are riding on the universal current that allows us to flow with life. Needless to say such people have discovered the great virtue of patience and know that tapping into this flow means letting go of the idea that we always have to be in control, always have to know exactly what our next move will be. It appears that if we are willing to let go, to trust the universe than that flow will always take us where we need to go. It takes courage to do this because we have to give up on the idea that we need to do everything for ourselves. Those who have taken this step are sometimes referred to as 'being born lucky', or 'born under a lucky star', but does luck really have anything to do with it? Relax and go with the flow, life will be better. What do you think?

Well, there is no way that we can always be in control no matter how hard we try. There are things in life that are out of our control and sometimes we just need to relax. Is okay to have power in our lives ,but is not good to become a robot either.

hi Pose dear, You have a very interesting discussion here...I do not belong to the born lucky lot,I have just flowed with the tides, feeling un happy and helpless about it,at the beginning, with no strength to resist it.But now looking back I feel I had made the right choice for life would have become meaningless if I had lived for myself,as I had intended to......It has made me take the well trodden path that has at its end happiness and satisfaction in its own way and has made me realise that I do belong, and will not make me stand out as a loner, but as one who belongs and who deserves happiness.,sharing and caring..........
