Why is it entitled "Pursuit of Happyness"?

I became interested with the movie because of its unique title. I got curious why they misspelled the word "happyness". Any idea why was the movie was given such title?

It's because in the book and in the movie, the school where he must send his son has the word "Happiness" misspelled as "Happyness". And Chris tells his son this right away and wants to get his son out of such a bad school.

Thank you for responding. I deeply appreciate it. I think I missed that part. I hardly remember that part of movie or maybe it did not register on my longterm memory. LoL. Maybe i should try reading the book or watch again the movie. I missed some scenes when watched it.I was doing something else... ΓΌ
