People have the misconception that vitamins are good for the body and should be taken everyday to have better health and all. Yes, I agree they are good but it is not really necessary if we eat complete balance food everyday. The vitamins are synthetic and not natural and it might do more harm then good if taken excessively. Vitamins are not cheap and have side effects if you care to read it in books. As far as possible eat balanced food and you won't need to spend lots of money on vitamins. You will only load yourself with unwanted nutrients that pass off from you as expensive urine.

Vitamin is one essential for our body to keep everything goes normal. Our body need a little vitamins dosage to keep being normal.Vitamin C is based i water so if we hard work and sweat, reduce the vitamin C in our body. There for we need a supplement but because maximum dosage of vitamin C is 1000mg, if you take more it can make you sick like diare. Same thing with the Zinc is a mineral, you can take a lot of them. And because all these supplement are syntetic, may can have side effect for your body. My suggest that you take Vitamin C source from natural like fruit.

I take a Once a Day Women multivitamin. Studies have shown it to be one of the most effective brands of vitamins available. Some people may need more than just a regular vitamin, so it is good to check with a doctor. I also take a supplement of magnesium because it helps reduce chances of migraines, and it also reduces levels of stress and helps decrease dry skin.

If you eat a well balanced diet you should not really take vitamins at all. The best vitamins come from food. Be careful not to take too much of any vitamin or mineral. There may be health risks related to taking too much. Large amounts of vitamins A and D, iron, zinc, calcium, selenium, folic acid and vitamin B6 are particularly harmful in large doses. Eat well by emphasizing vegetables, fruit, and grain products. People recovering from surgery or who have long term illness may need a supplement as well as older people and pregnant women.
