Love & Marriage

There are many countries in the world where people cannot decide who they will be married to. Boys and girls marriages will be decided by their parents, often to enhance political or business bonds. Do you think people who have the option to decide are priviledged? What would you think or do if you were married against your will? Or at young age before you even understand the whole thing? People in those cultures often say that they will learn to love their wifes or husbands by time, so it is allright. They don't even think that there is something like "the one" out there for you to find. Thoughts?

I think situations like that are sad and everyone should have the right to choose who they marry. I could never make my child marry someone personally. What if the person they were married to abused them or mistreated them.
