In other words, the caring liberals who donated to Obama's campaign could have given each of those kids over $600 instead.
But what's a few hundred thousand hungry kids matter when there was an overbloated campaign to feed.

Of course we can also look at the other side of this statistic. 999 out of every 1000 kids in America didn't go hungry last year.

if it hadnt been higher then at least it would be easier to take but knowing its just gotten higher and heck the candidates could have made some stops to feed the hungry as publicity to help out.. but i guess that would make them feel they were slumming it.. i agree such a waste of money going to campaigns

What about the caring conservatives who donated to McCain's campaign? It goes both ways.
Please, no political arguments here, just an observation, that's all.

Alot of people view it as not their problem. There parents should work more, have jobs or whatever. Most people don't take the time to see it from the other side. How there is a over population in areas and work is hard to find. With no work no money to buy food for children. Then there are the people who like to pretend things like this don't occur. I do what i can, but since i don't have much it isn't much but i am a person who believes every little bit helps.

i really wish i was rich because i have ALWAYS wanted to run a homeless shelter and help the needy etc.. unfortunately i end up being too poor to help anyone out and it is so annoying
