as some of you know i performed a covert operation back in september. we rescued 4 baby cootontails that had been orphaned. we lost the smallest, but the other three did great. they ate well, actually little piggies, and grew fast. we took them out to a safe place and released them the first weekend of november. they had their winter coats and were ready to br set free. it was a very successful release.

they will find or make a place to burrow into, under pine trees or other brushy area. thet have plenty of options where we released them. they will stay within a sq. mile of where we let them go.
