Some people believe that it's not safe to bring cash while shopping, so they use credit cards. Some want to pay in cash to avoid impulsive buying. How about you? Do you pay in cash or in credit card?

I think debit card is convenient, it is easy for u to buy something on internet through debit card. But i think you shoule attach your debit card to your bank account. as you all know, Internet is not really safe sometimes, so you can just deposit some money into your debit card from time to time if necessary.

I use mostly credit cards to pay bill while shopping. Because I got some points and gifts for credit card purchases in my bank. If I have sufficient balance in my credit card I mostly pay my bill via credit card. I know some another percentage of money will cut when I am paying by credit card rather than direct paying of money. Happy to share your views. Happy myLotting.

I think there is lot of danger in using both debit and credit card.Using debit card is more dangerous than using credit card. For credit card there is limit in withdrawing money from it and for debit card there is no such limit. There is lot of risk in using both cards for shopping. So i dont use both while shopping.I prefer to give cash while purchasing anything.

Cash is better to control spending, but I don't like to carry it around in large quantities. Yes, somebody could steal it but it's also bulky in the wallet, you have to deal with the change, and count it out all the time and make sure you get proper change back, too. I pay with credit card out of convenience and because it has benefits. My card gives cash back and has no fees. 1% on each purchase made, 2% in grocery stores. We don't have much money, so most of our shopping gets done at mass merchandisers, especially Walmart. For our credit card they are a grocery store. We even buy clothes, shoes, home and garden supplies there. We get gas at their gas station or another supermarkets gas station because it's cheaper. So on pretty much everything we buy we get 2% cash back. It's not much but it helps. Right now every penny counts. I just have to make sure I don't spend more than my budget allows so I can pay the credit card bill each month.

I would prefer to use cash, but cash these days for me is rare. I use credit cards whenever I do not have the cash. After all of the bills and rent are paid it usually leaves me with little or no cash, and it is easier to still get what I need if I use a credit card.

I try to make all of my purchases with my debit card because I get 1% cash back on every card purchase. The cash gets added to my debit card balance as soon as I use it, so I have the use of it immediately. The amount came to more than $100 last year, so it's well worth it to me, especially since I don't have to pay any withdrawal fees for taking cash out of the ATM.
