Haven't long been out to feed my guinea pigs (I have four, two boys and two girls) I have only had my girls three weeks today, when I brought my girls from the pet shop the pet shop lady said that one was already preggie (which was good as I want to breed) and she said that they would be born in about four weeks time. So I have benen looking everyday in case they were there and got really excited at the weekend as her btm was long instead of rounded. Big daughter was 20 yesterday and wanted them to be born on her birthday. Don't know when they were born as they weren't there yesterday tea time and when I put the greens in this morning I didn't get chance to look in their bedroom. Well I have two live births, no still born and they are lovely cute fluffy babies.

What do you do with all these pets? Surely you don't feed them to snakes do you? Can you make any money by increasing the numbers? I love babies but i also know that they quickly grow into adults. I'm no judging, just asking questions?

I shall sell them to the pet shop. I would never let any animal eat them, I know you are not judging

What if the pet shop sells them as snake food? I would never be able to not know where my babies were going to. I already freak out enough and I have an adoption application people must fill out first to get a pair of my rescued guinea pigs.

Hmmm... you dont keep them? They must be so cute... But you did make sure that pet shop is trusted right? That they will care them and only sell them to people who will take good care of them?

Congratulations! I hope the surviving one is still doing great. That is indeed exciting to watch this. Hope you'll have many more to come and will be able to sell them to the pet store. It seems to be a nice source for a side income;)

That's so cool! I don't really like little rodents in my house but, I do think they are cute and I'm sure babies have to be really cute. Congrats!

Hey Anne18 CONGRATULATIONS!! The good thing about gineapigs having babies is that they don't bloomin' eat them! I looked after my friends gineapigs for a week during the summer hols while she was away and when she got back the female was pregnant which was great because we got to have two of the babies.

Congratulations on the birth of the new babies. Bringing life into the world is a miracle and it is a time for celebrations. I wish you good luck with your breeding and also many more new guinea's babies.
