My colleague was telling me that her electrical garage door has developed a fault. It can be opened with a remote control but it has to be locked manually. She told me that even if it is a small thing, locking her garage door is out of her routine and is waiting anxiously for the repairmen to fix the garage door. .It is amazing how much things we have taken for granted.

That is true. If we are used to something always being one way and someone or thing throws a monkey wrench into it it can unbalance us a but until we get back on track.

Yeah.. It's actually very much surprising to know and see that everybody is takign life for granted, not just things.. lol =D Just ask around, among our frenz, who knows how to repair locks, unchoked the toilet bowl, changing of bulbs and lightings, or even, setting up the connection of household appliances.. lol =D It might seem easy, but when it comes to doing it, alot of ple will be stuck as when to start from.. lol =D
Because majority of the ple, are too relient on repairman and they believe in the usage of money to get others to do the work for them.. lol

Hi ronald you are so right we do take a lot of things for granted and the one thing that we are all guilty of is taking our feet for granted..they need a bit of pampering now and then...thats the one thing I take for granted the most...littleowl

Yes, we do take things for granted, we don't lock our doors when we leave the house. We live out in the country, so not a whole lot of people come by there, but you never know. Something bad will happen one of these days and then we'll learn our lesson.

Our children all have those automatic car door locking things - and they've all had problems with the batteries going flat or the devices breaking. Our car is the older type with a normal key and no central locking, so we don't have any problem (except for losing the key!) Sometimes technology is very annoying - it was probably easier in the 'old' days without all these gadgets!

yes it is amazing how we take things for granted, like getting up and changing the channel on the TV, nobody does it anymore because of the invention of the remote control.
