I must admit that I use both original and non original software both in my desktop and laptop. I have drawing packages and others which are not original but I do need them to use for my daily work and I cannot do without them. Do you have original software only in your computer? © ronaldinu 2008

At least the OS i use is original. And i am not sure what you mean by original, but if you mean a software which you bought with your own money then yes, the OS, Nero7 and Video converter are both original But the anti-virus is somehow not an original because i downloaded it from Microsoft But again the word "original" could be confusing because you can use your friend's original CD or software and still that is original even though it has not been bought by you. But i believe most people just download software from the net this days and the software companies turn to loose on profit

As I am using Fedora, I don't have that problem as almost all are freeware softwares. But when I am using windows XP in the last year, all the softwares that are in my pc are pirated one only. When I first experienced the unbuntu and linux, I changed my operating system to linux. Thank you. Happy to Help ======= Adi Hindu =======

I would do the same if I could play games also on Ubuntu, but I can't.- That's the only thing that keeps me with WXP

I'm using both original and pirated softwares too! I hate it but i have no choice. I don't have the money to spend on expensive softwares for my computer. I do try my best to install softwares that are original. Most of them are free to use so i guess it's ok.

I am not sure what you mean by original, I have a second hand computer so everything in my computer is second hand, it is old and I have needed a new one for a long time now, I just haven't had the money for it.

Same as you Ron. A mix of both. Some originals are way beyond my budget, so the only way I can get the program is by buying a non-original.

Fortunately the windows XP OS installed in our PC is genuine. But the CD we use is from a Dell PC and that dell PC wasn't in any way used for online purposes. The other software installed in our PC, sad to say are not original except for the online gaming programs which are free.

I don't have any software original, I admit it! (maybe some games). I think that the world tendency is going to Open-Source and original software gone too far from a rational price (specially operative systems like Windows XX / Vista). Why bother wasting so much money, when you have better free choices? Games and specific applications are other thing, and some of it are really good and worth of your money. Maybe if next Windows 7 price starts really low and it worth my money, i would think of trying it and maybe buy it. Regards
