For me, I don't see hollywood movies. My best come from Hindi bollywood movies. My favourite is "Tere Naam" amd "Do Bigha Jamin" first one is a love story and later one is life story

Oh that's ok. I've seen a Filipino movie before and the title was "Tag-ulan sa Tag-araw" (Rainy season against Sunny season) lol what a title but anyway it was a story about two first cousins who fell in love, the girl got pregnant and they were forced to be separated by their parents. It has a very sad ending :(

The Color Purple.. It was very sad, how Danny did Whoopi.. I cry every time I watch this movie! And the part where Shuge, sings, God is tryin to tell you something.. She sand this to the church where her father was.. It was very sad... And it made my heart lasp with joy, she was a sinner but she had a soul too. This is what she told her father.

I haven't seen The Color Purple but I want to. Isn't it the one with Oprah in it? I think I'll rent that one from Blockbuster one of these days. Thanks.

I think it's 'Scent of A Woman', though it is not so sad. It tells a lot about how to be a man. And it tells a story about the saving process of two men. When I saw it. I couldn't help crying. I learnt a lot from it.

Candy, 25th Hour, requiem for a dream, and new york doll - biography of arthur kane are all tear jerkers. Im not a cryer but those movies are incredibly depressing.
