Is love blind or does a person get blinded in love?

Well, it's the same thing. If you want to get down to it, this is caused by hormones that are triggered at the start of a new romance. This is what gives you the butterflies in your stomach and the idea that your new boyfriend/girlfriend can do no wrong. It's cute that he chews with his mouth open. Unfortunately, these hormones fade as a relationship progresses and you start to realize that it's not so cute anymore. Some people get addicted to that hormonal high and might be labeled as having a "fear of commitment", when in fact they might just be addicted to the high of new love.

I feel it's the same! When you love someone you just don;t pay any attention to anything else except that person he/she becomes your life! Being blind in love refers to overlooking the faults of your lover. I feel it can be tolerated to some extent but the real problem arises when your whole world starts revolving around your lover. When people start overlooking serious mistakes and shortcomings in love then it causes real trouble!

First of all I believe that there is a mayor difference between falling / being in love and loving somebody. When you're in love you basically fall in love with the image of the person that you have in your head, and therefore it is already a kind of blindness, because it is by its very nature incomplete. Once you get through this 'being in love' and stick to that person, than you might actually get to love that person. But there is no blindness anymore, because by then you really have to know the person in order to love him / her.

Actually it was the same. Love is blind because if you love you cannot see what is lack in him/her even she doesn't have tooth or maybe black or white anything that for others are not good for the person in love to be with. And the person that is "in love" is the carrier of love, now he feel this love which is sink into him. Now, as he is in love and the love is called blind,.. the person who is carrier of love that is in love,. was blind too. In short they merge to each other. That is why the person who is in love become blind because love is blind. This is how I know about this. :)

Love is not blind but it refuses to see. I mean, in the end love is like any life's choices -- a matter of decision-making.

Well, I do think love is blind, even blind people do fall in love even if they couldn't see the face of the person they love! I don't really know what the difference between being in love and being blinded in love. Perhaps being in love is both have the same feelings and being blinded in love means one sided love. I am not sure.
