What kind of kitchen utensils you are using at your home, is it plastic wear or glassware and why? In my case i have both of them. The plasticwear will be using of my little sibs coz they are always breaks my plates and glasses, so plastic wear is for them to use. And the glasswares will be use by us. How about in your house? Thanks for sharing. Happy myloting.

We have both. We use the plastic ware most tho. They take up less room in the cupboard because they can stack where the glass ones can't. I like the glass one better but I usually use a small glass and the glass ones are too big.

Yeah plasticware with high qualit si good for small space cupboard and also you don't worry to break it. I do sometimes use the plastic wear and i use the glassware when there's a special occassion. Cheers!

I am using both plastic and glassware. But I still prefer to use those glassware and stoneware as they are easier to clean and more presentable. Those plastic wares are meant for the kids.

we have both too.. Though my house has got no little children, but still we do have purpose and usage for plastic plates and bowls.. hehe ^_^ Most of the time, we will be using glassware to eat our meals, and plastic bowls will be used for soup instead, as it's not that hot to carry.. hehe =D ANd also, plastic wares are used for transferring of food when we are heating up things using glasswares.. hehe

Well we have ceramic-like dishes and such I believe, so glassware. The glasses are of both: All the older people use either, but the baby always drinks out of the big plastic cups.

Ceramic utensils are really good looking and im inlove looking at them but not good for kids to use, too expensive to break. So better to give them plastic one. Cheers!

I prefer plastic. Its safer. Glass breaks too easily. I've broken a glass in my hand just holding it. I held it a little too tight I guess, and it just shattered, and cut me pretty bad. Plastic is also cheaper.

We use a mixture of plastic and china in our house. The children use plastic just so we don't have to worry about them breaking anything. WE also tend to use plastic beakers for hubby and mine drinks again so there is not so much worry. When people come round we get all the proper glass out

As far as plates and cups, we use plastic for the grandkids because they are young and glass for the adults. When we cook on the grill and eat on the deck we use either plastic or paper plates since they are easier to carry outside. Since it's normally just my husband and me at home we sometimes use paper plates just so there are less dishes that need to be washed.
