I only have the curtains that came with my house. I like them so I don't change them. I do take them down and wash them sometimes but I don't see the need to change them.

Oh yeah my hubby is same as you, he don't like to change curtains because he thinks it don't need to change. That's why we end up arguing about small things like this. lolz Cheers!

I'm confused as to what sort of curtains we are talking about here. Porper curtains that keep the dark out or net curtains? If I changed proper curtains every week well there wouldn't be much time left to do anything else. Net curtains we wash about once a month to fresher them up, have to do them early in the morning so they can go back up the same day as we only have one set for each window. Proper curtains again only one set for each room, and a very old set of curtains in the cupboard for back up!

Wow!! :-) That's a whole lot of changing curtains. I'm in the US, and most people I know only change theirs when the design of the room itself changes. Not to say they don't wash them, just they keep the same design longer like your hubby. Myself? I change mine at the end of winter, and the begining of fall (twice a year for this wintery weather area.) In the summer I put up light weight curtains that are light and airy looking and let more breeze in the windows, and in the end of fall I switch to thermal lined draperies that can be shut tighter at night. I may like the look of the curtains with the light weight stuff year round, but the house is wayyyyyyyy warmer with the winter thermals on. During the holidays, like Christmas, I change only the tiebacks to make them holiday curtains lol.

I only have one set of curtains for each room, we have really large and long windown so it costs a fortune to buy curtains for them. I just have the one pair and then I will replace them every few years.

Back home, I have almost all the pastel colors for curtains. I change every month and they match with the pillows, beddings and throw pillows. Now , I dont have any curtains at all. since , the apartment has blinds and i just dont think i need to put curtains.

I never really thought of changing curtains so often. I only change once a year during christmas but wash my curtains once in every 3 months. Curtain changing has not become my priority and as long as it serve the purpose as sun shield I will not change it for the sake of changing. On top of that curtains are quite expensive.

I dun use any curtains in my house.. Because we dun need too.. hehe ^_^ As in singapore, our flats are high rise, and thus, we dun need to cover up, as we have got windows.. hehe ^_^ ALso, i dun really like curtains too, as it's troublsome, and makes the whole room seems so dark, especially in the morning when i wake up.. haha

Thats the same case with me too. Though I do prefer to change the curtains once in a while maybe every 2 or 3 months. I just bored to see the same look of the house everyday so I keep changing it often. works for me
