the greaters thing in a person's life

I work hard and in some ways I am able to make some few successful things. The big successes seem to elude me, though. I hope to succeed in some big way in the future. cheers!!

I was like this with my previous full time job. I used to work all kinds of hours. Sometimes 6 days a week. I didn't think too much about it. I just wanted to be successful. What did I have to lose? Well, I shouldn't say I just wanted to be successful, I wanted to be the best. I did make it, it took me a few years, but I did finally make it to the top. I was the sales manager of the year at the last conference when I worked with the company. Do you want to know what happened after that? The company did some downsizing, four months later I was offered a position working just as hard but making half the money. Oh well, life goes on.
