YAY... Out here in Utah it is that time of year when the University of Utah and BYU duke it out on the football field. For an entire week every family in Utah wears their school colors. Right my husband and I live in BYU territory, so its a little rough on us to wear our rad badge... but YAY... Go UTAH!
Do you enjoy football rivals... what kind of things do you do to celebrate the big game?

In Oklahoma, there are two rivals in the part of Oklahoma I live in. I'm in OU territory, and our 'sworn' enemies are OSU (fellow Oklahoma team of course), and Texas. This Saturday I would recommend Oklahomans to stay off the road. There is going to be traffic galore. People are going to go nuts. I'm going to be seeing people painted, their cars decked out, local restaurants 'themed' for the occasion... it's going to be crazy. Everyone it seems throws a party in their house for all their friends. It's a good time to go grocery shopping because everyone else is indoors watching the game.

Yay go OSU. That is really fun, what a coincident that we are sharing this weekend for our rival game. I'm so excited, even our little one is going to get decked out for the game, but then again he has always loved football... check out this picture of him getting ready for the Georgia Tech game.

Until now, I can't follow a football game. Boyfriend has to explain what happened in the few times I sit with him as he watches the game. I only have been to one football game and now I can't even remember if it was the 49ers or the Raiders that we watched play against another team. All I remember is it was the day Boyfriend's car chose to break down amidst the line of cars behind us trying to park in the stadium and when I had pigtails on and unknowingly walked around with melted cheese at each end since my hair somehow dipped itself in the cheese I got with the nachos I ordered. Yay!
