Do you or anyone in your family still like and want to give children their birthday spankings? How old is too old for these spankings? Last year, joking around, I threatened my husband that I would give him his birthday spankings, but that sure didn't strike the kids funny. LOl Any thoughts on this?

Oh my gosh, I had totally forgotten about spankings on birthdays! LOL I haven't done these to my kids, nor would I think they would find it the least bit funny. However, with my husband's birthday coming up, maybe, just maybe, I'll try doing this to him!

Your husband just may find it fun alright. If your children see you give your hubby his birthday spankings, don't be surprised, they just may want to help Mom spank Dad. They also may find it fun and want their birthday spankings. LOL Enjoy and that sounds like you may have alot of fun with your hubby. I told my husband that on his birthday, he turned right around and made his behind accessible. I could'nt stop laughing so the boys were ready to jump in and give a hand. LOL

Its a tradition here as well. I am now 26 years old and my parents still chase me around the house to try to give me my birthday spanking. I'm usually successful at avoiding them. But not always! lol :-P

I think that is great and so funny. It must be hilarious to see that. You running and them chasing you around and sometimes maybe getting you. That's great, that your family still likes to have fun like that.

LOL. We still do that. It's tradition! My oldest is 13 and still loves to joke around with it. They attempt to give us our birthday spankings but are usually unsuccessful. We catch them when they least expect it on their birthdays.

Oh good, glad it still is being done. I wondered about that seeming some kids have weird thoughts about it. Some adults have made my friends children think it was wrong and not good. Well, glad we turned their thinking around on that. LOL It's a tradition here to!
