My daughters are obsessed with Twilight. They can't wait to see the movie on Friday. They like Edward the vampire and hate Jacob. I have no idea who they are. I just know that Edward is a cute vampire. My daughter got the Twilight t-shirt too from Hot Topic store. Do you like Edward or Jacob? Ok, that last sentence was type by my younger daughter. lol Seriously, do you or your children like the book? My daughters have finished reading the book and its sequel New Moon and Eclipse. I'm keeping the 4th book Breaking Dawn in my bedroom cause they can't wait to read it. Ok, now my daughter knows where it is cause she's reading this. I better go hide the book somewhere else. lol

My sisters and I love Twilight. My friends love Twilight. I think it's kind of sickening already because everyone loves Twilight. Yikes. Just like Harry Potter addiction.. XD
I like Edward and Jacob. Jacob's great. :) If your daughter had only read Twilight.. She must read until Breaking Dawn. She will definitely love the last book. :)

My daughters have all of them - Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. I heard Breaking Dawn has kind of like rated R pages. My older daughter is almost finished reading New Moon now and my 11 yr old is asking me if she could read the Breaking Dawn cause she's done reading Eclipse. I said wait til your sister gets to read it first so she could tell me if it's appropriate for you to read.

I understand.. As far as I remember, Breaking Dawn doesn't have details on the R18 stuff.. I think it's safe. Although she might not understand the part when Bella got bruises and stuff..

I'm not going to go so far as to say, I'm a crazy fan of the Twilight series, but yes, I do plan to watch the movie. I've read all four books, and it was written well enough to keep me engrossed.
I think the story is interesting, and I do find Edward fascinating. I think more of him as sweet and decent, not really hot and sexy. Maybe because he is in a seventeen y/o body..LOL..
It's no Harry Potter, I will say, still it is a decent read and I was entertained. Maybe because I'm more used to adult PNR books, I find Twilight a little tame. Still, I can understand the attraction among teens.
Yes, I'm definitely curious how the movie stands in comparison to the book. That I think is enough reason for me to check it out.

OMG the movie theaters are gonna be packed today! My older daughter is going to get in line later today with her friends @ 5pm for the 7pm showing. That's amazing. My younger daughter will be attending a birthday party tomorrow and they will also go and watch the movie later on. I am getting curious I want to ask my husband for us to watch it too. lol

I really must go out and pick up these books. I keep hearing so much about them. It is not really a subject matter that I choose to read, but there seems to be something special about these. I will have to try them out.

My daughters said Twilight and its sequel books are books made for girls. Screaming is all i hear every time my daughter gets in a page where the vampire boy and girl are showing they like each other. Oh the thrill of imagining and wishing they were that girl in the book...it's so teenage girl thing :D

Where did you get to buy those precious books? They're out of stock here in our area, don't know when the next stocks are coming.

Barnes & Noble but we got them all last Sept. If they're out of stock in the bookstores in your area already you can get them on ebay or amazon.com. My daughters are asking me to read the books. They said I won't regret it. My older daughter is going to start Breaking Dawn today. She just finished reading the Eclipse last night.
