Austin Texas is the capital of the great "nation" of Texas. Here, on the edge of the Texas Hill Country, you can find beautiful natural spring pools, the largest urban bat colony and is considered the "The Live Music Capital of the World." Visit in the spring, from March through mid-May for the best weather and come in March to see the wild flowers in their full glory. From Austin you can visit the Missions of San Antonio, the great granite dome of Enchanted Rock, the second largest granite dome in the U.S., and the LBJ ranch. Inside Austin you can visit the LBJ museaum, the State capital building, the French Legation or the O Henry Museaum, and if you come on the right weekend, even watch or perticipate in the O Henry Pun-off held every year, generally on Mother's day in early May. Shopping is another popular activity, with numerous small vintage shops around town or hit the SoCo, a popular shopping streach of South Congress Ave. If you want a more normal shopping experiance, there are numerous Malls around town where you can visit the big names stores too. There are all kinds of hotels and motels around town and all kinds of prices, stay in the historic Driskill and you might even see one of its ghosts! There are also B&Bs for a more home-like experience.

Hi sudheervm, I live int the UK in the south of England, a small outskirt of the town of Horsham. I live close to train station shops bus service is very good, go a few miles and you'll be in a beautiful country side, and in oour town there is a few bed and breakfast places, opposite the station we have a hotel you can stay stay at, you can take a train from out town straight to London and it don't take long to get there where you can visit the famous theatres movies housed resturants and bars, so it quite nice where I live.
