if you had an extra 100 dollars, what would you do with it?

Like you i would spend it on the children's gifts or I would take everyone out for a lovely christmas day out, somewhere really christmasy and a Santa there as well.

I would spend it all on our kids and grandkids although it wouldn't take me very far since we have 3 grown kids, their spouses and 5 grandkids. I don't like to shop but would make it a point to get something special for our new grandbaby who is now 3 weeks old.

I'd buy some jewelry for myself. And maybe a Christmas present for my brother too since I haven't finished shopping for him yet. Most of my Christmas shopping is done now though.

I'd put it in my Savings account until January 1, 2009 where it would then go into the new tax-free savings accounts being offered. The Conservative government in Canada implemented a new program starting in the new year, whereby any Canadian 18 and older can save $5000 a year in a tax free savings account and you never pay any tax on any money generated from the principal. Perhaps it's time for more people to consider saving some money instead of spending every last cent available to them. We're not all as lucky as the banks and other corporations in the financial sector who have a nice cushy tax payer funded backstop when things get tough or when mistakes are made. Most of us walk around without safety nets unless we create them ourselves. That is, when we aren't forced to pay for others safety nets first. ;) Why not pay off any debt if you have some. If not, perhaps start a fund for you childrens' education? A hundred bucks sounds like a good way to start.

I don't have any kids yet, so I would keep it in my bank account. :)

I would keep that in my paypal account and use that to pay others for my work and also to buy one or two products or service online and increase my income further as I need to that.Then I can think of donating or gifting.
