So, I had company over yesterday and I picked up some snacks from the grocery store before hand. A newer brand was on sale with some very interesting flavors, so I decided to purchase a bag. I had never seen nor heard of this flavor before, but I was quite intrigued. I bought a bag of...Tandoori Barbecue potato chips. I know what you are thinking. Tandoori barbecue??? What the he11 is that? Apparently it's a Spicy Indian dish of some sort. The chips were fabulous. They had an interesting combination of sweet and spicy barbecue. The taste melded perfectly together. So, what do you think? Would you try some if they were available to you? has anyone tried a new flavor of potato chips lately that they would like to share with their fellow myLotters?

Tandoori Barbecue potato chips would make me gag. I would never eat something so disgusting. I would rather eat dried crickets.

No. I never been a contest on Fear Factor or Survivor. But I'd like my chances if I ever were.

haven't tried that one. i love sweet and spicy flavored food. but i hope it would give that disgusting smell after. one that must to bush or gargle before you can face someone.

Well, I never experienced any bad aftertastes or negative affects when I tried them. Nobody that was around me afterwards complained about my breath and I certainly didn't have that problem talking to others after they tried some. I won't speak for all brands though.

I am a really big fan of kettle chips, but ginger isn't my favorite spice. I don't much care for Thai food either. I have seen this flavor of potato chips on sale before, but I passed on them for the aforementioned reasons. I must say that I don't think that I would like a ginger aftertaste either. I never really enjoyed it that much after the cookies let alone potato chips.

It is a nice variation on the Barbecue flavoring. I would definitely buy another bag when I get a chance. I like to try new flavors when they become available because I am often pleasantly surprised and you never know what they are really like from a description or another person's opinion. Everyone has their own unique tastes and, you know what they say, variety is the spice of life.
