you might want to reformat your ipod thru itunes if nothing works. I suggest this to be your last resort. Hope this helps.

Hi I think I can help you with this but I am not sure if this will work. If your Ipod froze, you can try pressing menu button and at the same time pressing the middle round button, you should hold the 2 buttons for like maybe 15 to 20 seconds or until you see an Apple icon then you may release it and see if you Ipod is back to normal. I hope that helps. Good luck to your Ipod.

i am not sure what is wrong with it but i dropped mine in the toilet and then let it sit out and dry out and it is fine now. when it first happened it was messing up and the light was going out and stuff, but the next day it was back to normal. im sorry to here that yours is messed up. maybe you can try blow drying up in where you put the cord goes in. good luck
