leader board malfunctioning????

hi there myloters i am so confused in this leaderboard thing,
there are so many members in ranklist from 1 to 14 who hav no activity since 1 year and is still in 1-14,but there are so many persons here like mathss and islander who took part in all discussions and giv their own ideas to all mylottters but still in 300 something and 900 something
what is this anyway.

The leaderboard ranks are calculated by how other people rate you + or - while you are responding in a particular interest. It has nothing to do with how often you responding in the interest category. The rank doesn't disappear just because someone becomes inactive just like their profile doesn't disappear.

It was a good question and a lot of people don't understand how the rankings work. I had the same question several months ago. I searched myLot until I found the answer. Glad to help pass on the information.
