Well I gotta say that I am. When my hubby and I got married we promised each other that our wedding bands would never come off. For many reasons, like one of them was to show that we are proud to be taken and another good reason is to show that we are comitted. Well I gotta say that yesterday after what happened I'm glad we decided to wear our bands. When my hubby was at work he had got his finger squished in between one of the machinery. I gotta say I am so thankful that we decided to wear our bands at all times. Because who knows how bad it would have been if he did not have his wedding band on at the time this happened. Has anything like this ever happened to or anything almost like this? If so please share your stories I would love to see what you all have to say.

First of all I love my new rings and hubby loves his too. We have had the same thing happen a few weeks ago. If it wasnt for the ring, he would have most likely lost his finger. It got stuck between 2 pieces of metal and got the ring instead. It didnt squish it because it is the titanium (or something like that), non scratchable and stuff. Thankfully he wears his all the time or it would have been a bad accident. As it was his finger still swelled and was black and blue!

I think when my hubby and I go to renew our bands I'm going to get him the same kind of ring that you got for your hubby. Well I'm glad nothing happened to his finger. Happy Mylotting

Yes, I am very thnakful for many different things. I have seen where people have gotten caught on a machine because of a ringa nd gotten their fingers and hands squished. So, my husband doesn't wear his ring at work. He takes it off because he is a mechanic and could loose a finger or two if the ring get scaught on something. I no longer wear my ring as my fingers swell to much.

My hubby and I said when we got married that we wanted to wear our rings all the time, however my hubby works on cars, and I used to groom dogs, both of use had issues with the ring getting stuck or caught, so after we had been married about a month we went and bought to matching chains, good strong ones that don't break and if we don't have our rings on our fingers they are on the chain around our necks. That way we always have them on. As for something we are thankful for, we made a rule when we had our little girl only one parent gives meds, everyone told us we were nuts, but since I am home most of the time I do all meds...my daughter was a preemie and has about 3 different RX she is on. Well about a week ago my friend had to rush her son to the ER cause her hubby didn't know she had already given him some meds for his cold, and he gave him another dose, he started vomiting and chocking...I don't know what med he is on, but I thought to myself I am so glad that we made the decision to do it our way so that hopefully that wont happen...some of my daughters meds can be very harmful if given to close together.....

I like the idea of wearing your wedding band around a chain. I hope that nothing like the overdose by accident never happens to my children, but then again I do all the meds too since I am a stay home wife/mom. Happy Mylotting
