Why chocolate flavor is most liked among ladies???

Every time I ask this question-"which ice-cream flavor?" to lady,only one answer I hear is CHOCOLATE.Is there any special reason for this??How can almost all ladies like the same flavor!!Do you have any explanation for this...please suggest.

I don't know why but i am a choco-holic i love chocolate far too much lol... why i don't know... when im in a good mood i reach for chocolate, bad mood? A LOT of chocolate... ice cream? ANYTHING that is chocolate... =P. Why that is i do not really know just a preference. Myself anything strawberry or cherry flavored i hate... it is just a preference i guess.

i think.. the first flavor that come to their mind is chocolate because this is the most popular flavor in the world... besides, before we grew-up our mother always give us a food that has a chocolate flavor... i think that's the reason...

I have always (and I always will) loved DARK chocolate. I know that it is an acquired taste because some people find it too bitter. I just love it.

I think maybe because it's like one of the best flavors in ice-cream and it is closely related to the next thing we like as women which is chocolate. i just love chocolate ice-cream ever since I was a child. It was always the first flavor I would ask the Ice-cream man for.

hello dev2lucky I beg to differ partly. So far as my observation expands i have seen most women liking either butterscotch or chocolate or any rich flavour. But the light flavours like vanilla,strawberry ,raspberry are a no no.I guess its cause women are a little more health conscious. So usually they do not go for fatty food. But once they decide to take a try they choose the reachest & eye catching flavour out of long seated desire. No seriousness please,that is just a way to view the point... thank you

Nice observations by you udit. You seem so honest in your response. I think you are very much associated with girls or ladies. You seem to know their thinking process very well. How do you think in such a way? you are true that ladies are not that fond of light flavours...

i think it is vanilla. i have seen most of the women relish it during the parties. but if you feel chocolate is the more prolific, then probably this is the explanation. chocolate is said to be a great aphrodisiac. so, that is all...hahaha...

Well i'm a female and I LOVE CHOCOLATE but for some reason i do not like chocolate ice cream unless i mix it with another flavor.
