mylot is very mysterious sometimes

Sometimes, I do not understand how mylot works. For example, we are not allowed to copy and paste until we reach 500 posts yet there are more and more newbies everyday that post referral links. However, just a few minutes ago, I was trying to paste a link to the banner contest on mylot, yet I got the warning that I cannot copy and paste until I have 500 post! Is this a bug or just the way mylot works?

Yes,this is just the way mylot works,it's against mylot's guidelines to post a link with your referral id in it or to publish a link that is not related to the topic of your discussion...Anyone can put a link in their discussions or posts without having 500 posts...

"Anyone can put a link in their discussions or posts without having 500 posts..." Yes, that may be true, but sometimes I cannnot. You can see I only have less than 400 posts and I could not do this yet newbies are posting referral links. Why does this happen?

If somebody really wants to post a referral link, they WILL take the time to painstakingly write out the entire lengthy URL. Or else they have mysterious powers that lets them copy/paste before 500. *shrug*

Same here, i also wonder that before how they do it for i only use copy and paste after my 500 post. Have you tried to type the link for it is allowed, as long it doesnt violate the rules. Please read guidelines and FAQ before using the links for some are allowed and some are not.

it is the way mylot works. You have to reach the 500 mark in order to be able to do that. It restricts newbies from flooding this site by copying and pasting articles here.

Snam you need to wait until you reach the 500 post so you copy and paste, that's the mylot rules,but about the newbies who can copy and paste here even they never reached the 500posts i have no idea about that. We will see if someone will going to answer that here.
