Considering that you are in mylot, I have an impression that somehow you have a heartt for writing...Who inspired you to write, or shall we say, what inspired you to write. I'm easily inspired by anything or anyone around me. As of the moment what inspires me most is music. Instrumental music soothes my soul and enriches it with words..^^I am but a translator of my soul..^^ How about you? Who or what inspired you to write?

I've always had stories to tell but my first memories of really writing was as a teen, writing on loose leaf paper in a binder. I had stories but I don't think I ever finished one. In college, I was a "serious" chemistry (turn psych) student but wrote a little fan fic to live inside my favorite TV show when I was goofing off or on summer break. I started seriously writing fiction after the birth of my first kid. He's 11 now. I wrote to explore the what if aspect of my life. I am very happy with the way my life is going but its fun to "dress up" as someone else for a while. My third child is now 3 and I published my first novel last month. I love writing romance but not the "bodice rippers" that are usually associated with romance. When boys and girls "play" together things usually happen. It's an amazing journey to go on with my characters and I couldn't imagine not writing.

I just write for myself, whenever I have something playing in my mind, I would simply grab a pen and paper, or type on the keyboard. I just love writing, it brings me to another dimension of the unknown, somewhere I can't explain but gives me the feeling of ease and relaxation. I also write when I'm mad, when I'm troubled and scared, it simply helps me to get the heavy feeling off my chest. I have always been quiet and pensive since I was a little kid and a growing teen, and writing has been one of my avenues to explain and explore myself, I guess that's it, who inspires me to write is my sole self. :)

Heartache. When I am trying to work thru pain, I think writing becomes very therapuetic to me. Somehow it calms me. I guess because I can express myself more freely, without interruptions when I write.

I love reading. I started very young and love stories, so I wanted to make up my own. Playing a lot of role-playing games just added to that desire, since it's storytelling in a live environment. If I were to pick one author who inspired me to want to publish my own stuff, it would have to be Roger Zelazny: such beautiful writing and great stories. I'd love to be able to write like that!

my inspiration is probably something that happen in my surounding, my memory from past, news on tv and newspaper, everything can inspired me. But the thing is, my ispiration comes when I have the mood. so... the mood is what influence the most of my inspiration. sometimes i just re-watch my fave tv show to make my mood on the inspiration stage.

I have always written since I was in my teens, both stories and poetry, although I never showed anyone my writing back then. After I was married I started to write articles and sold some to magazines. These days I prefer to write fiction and also the occasional poem, so I wasn't really inspired to write in the beginning but whenever I'm finding it difficult and I read the work of such people as Oscar Wilde I am inspired to continue writing.

I come from a long line of story tellers and once I learned to read and write I fell in love with the written word. My first attempt at writing was age six when I wrote a poem about a skunk. My life, people in it, enviroment, creation, nature, music, color all inspire my creativity

I grew up in a suburb place and my mom was an educator put into one inspired me to start a career in writing. My mom influenced me in many ways not to include the bunch of books and magazines at home.

I would have to say that I was probably inspired by all the wonderful authors I read, starting when I was still just a child. I always planned to be a novelist or poet, but during the greatest part of my life I mostly made notes about the things I was thinking. That was usually inspired by my reading or what was going on in the world. It took me until old age to realize that my talent lies in ideas, not fiction. I'm good at analyzing and explaining things in a way that helps other people understand them. I'm still inspired mostly by complex ideas, but unfortunately that's not the kind of thing you get paid for on the interent. So now I write articles that will pay, and work on my own material when I have the time and energy.

other people have told me that they like my writing style and my writing is entertaining. and they were many of them who dont even know each other and live in different states. so, i guess when many people who dont even know each other keep telling me the same thing, i took it as a sign and pursued it. Holy Spirit continues to inspire me everyday. HE inspired my with my first novel, the is one of the main reasons that i decided to call it, The Sand Dollar.

My family thinks I can write, so they've been my best support. They might be a tad bit bias.

Ive been writing songs since i was 5, not sure where i got that from. Maybe listening to the stones and the who since birth helped out in that dept (thanks dad!) But seriously keeping a journal writing a attribute to discovering jack kerouac and john lennon when i was 13. They could make any situation relatable and I was obsessed with them all through high school. Lately i dont need a person for isnpiration because Im very cynical and there's so much going wrong in current events that there is almost too much to write opinions about.

I would say that everything I see in my day all inspired me. Every little thing I see, Every single word I hear in this wonderful world. I could make out a novel just because I saw a young man was begging beside the street. It's very interesting to find the lovely thing in our life.

Depends what on. Usually it's a form of venting, or dreams. Music fuels the writing and I can get ideas from everyday life...but often I write because I have something I need to express. Dreams usually just map it out for me. I prefer not to be inspired by people, because it hampers the intuitive process with worries that I'll get it "wrong".

I really got motivated to write when I was really young. I read a lot when I was a kid which really sparked my passion to write stories that other people would enjoy as much as I enjoyed the ones I read. Over the years I've found that experiences I've had good or bad, and the experiences people close to me where having inspired me to write. I have actually been working on aa book sense my freshman year of high school writen for high school kids. I felt that teenagers have so many things happen to them, and feeling that they believe no one else has. The book was filled with stories of actually high schoolers experience and inputs for situations. I haven't actually gotten it finished but maybe one day.
