PSD to HTML

what do you thing about taken an image created with adobe illustrator in format PSD and later generate its html which cut the image in several ones and finally the html is a html code which contain a giant TABLE tag with TR and TD and the pieces of the image as a background of each cell. do you thing is a good way to create easy pages html and later include the programming code to interact with a database ... that is a good way to programming websites ??? what do you think ?? regards, frankouz

Yes, you can use table for dividing the portions of your website. You can also use div for including styles on images.

do you use some software to make the portions ??? i have heard about fireworks but i haven't worked with it yet. what do you think?? have you used it? what other programs do you use to make your webpages. thanks.
