Most airlines allow 20 kg for each adult ticket and each child ticket. However infants do not get an allowance. I traveled to Latvia with my toddler son this year. The airline allowed 15kg for each adult ticket so all our things had to go in that. It was challenging and I had to pay extra for them to carry a lightweight fold up travel cot. When I went around the world going to the USA I was allowed loads of weight like two times 30 kg but onwards to Asia after going to Australia I was allowed one times 20kg. I made sure my hand baggage was the maximum allowed weight and put all the heavy things in my large handbag. In the last two years there have been new laws about hand baggage and special rules about carrying liquids in it.

in our airlines, we are allowed 15kg for check-in luggage and 7kg for handcarry.
