Here's part of the article from the N.Y. Times:
Samuel J. Wurzelbacher, the presidential campaign fixture and John McCain advocate better known as Joe the Plumber, won’t have to open his own plumbing business just yet: he has signed a deal to write “Joe the Plumber: Fighting for the American Dream.” PearlGate Publishing, a small publisher in Austin, Tex., announced the book on its Web site, pearlgatepublishing.com. The book, which will be written with Thomas N. Tabback (whose novel, “Things Forgotten,” was also published by PearlGate), will address Mr. Wurzelbacher’s ideas about American values, and is scheduled for release on Dec. 1. In an interview with Fox News Mr. Wurzelbacher said he could have signed a deal with a larger publisher. “But they don’t need the help,” Mr. Wurzelbacher said. “They are already rich. So that’s spreading the wealth to me.”

I can't quite figure out how he's going to write it and get it published and released by December 1! Is anyone holding their breath to read about Joe's "ideas about American values"? Let's see...don't get a plumbing license, don't pay your taxes, don't pay your child support...

well I am sure hte IRS will get a large chunk of that, plus his ex wife on child support. Personally I do not care to read it. I think most people will not care to read it. He needs to just fade away already.

My guess is he is not the one who will actually do the writing. He will be interviewed and someone will ghost write the book. You've seen the Gieco commercials haven't you? It is probably already written, Joe the Plumber is just the marketing ploy they needed.

It's going to be written "with" Thomas N. Tabback who wrote a novel with the word "Forgotten" in the title which I haven't actually forgotten since I never heard of it...lol! At least Joe's not getting a huge advance, not that I've heard about anyway.

They can't give him an advance because odds are the book won't make any money. They would have needed to release it 3 weeks ago to have a chance and even then it would have been a long shot. He may have been important in the race, but in the real world, who cares what he has to say? The reason I defended him is because he was illegally investigated by Obama supporters. I really don't value his political views any more than anyone else.

I am glad that Joe the Plumber is suceeding in life. I remember when that kid William got a record deal for not being able to sing. THen they set up a concert date that totally went bad. I am all for people getting ahead in life. But come on. I honestly think that enough is enough. I dont think we need a book. I honestly think that this man got his 15 minutes of fame. It should be over now. I am all for supporting someones dreams. Are these Joes dreams? Or is Joe being used? I feel bad in a way because fame can be tough. When theyre done with him they simply drop him and move on to the next. I dont think that Joe the plumber is well versed in the subjects he is representing. If he is, my apologies. I just think that we have so many other things to be addressed. I dont know just a thought dl

I think McCain used him in the beginning, after talk radio got ahold of his question to Obama, but now I think Joe's milking it for all he can. I think the cow is about dry by now, however, and I doubt his book will sell very well.

I can imagine this will be more of a pamphlet than an actual book. I think it will sell better than anticipated for many Americans will have that curiousity factor, others will just buy it so they can have something to talk and laugh about. Time shall tell. I am sure the IRS will be knocking on his door for everything that he owes.

Oh goodie, that will have to be on my Christmas list lmao..
I have no interest in what "Joe" has to say about American values since he is a Republican I'm sure that it has to do with corporate welfare, making sure that Christian values are forced upon the American people, and it's ok to break the law as long as you aren't caught.

Looks like the news channels are going to re-figure Joe's financial statements... there's no WAY he can avoid getting his taxes raised now! Why Joe? Why are you aimlessly giving money to the government?
