If you had a fish, what would you name it?

I have a male Betta fish that I just got yesterday. He still does not have a name. My brother suggested Fabio [after the famous Italian male model], and I have been thinking about that, so most likely his name is going to be Fabio. But if someone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them!

I used to have an inside fish tank a few years ago and i went crazy buying fish, I had Elvis, a white fish called Marilyn, two black fish called Michael & Janet, and a friend bought me two that he called Harold & Maud after his favourite movie, then I had a lot of tiny little fish that I called the fans....

Well, I posted a picture of him on my discussion. Though, I don't think he really has a personality yet.

Fabio is a gorgeous name for him. The thing I can suggest is that if you have a favorite name or a favorite person that you care about, for a particular reason or not that you name him after that person or name that you like. I had one my grandson named Charlie. I kept that name because my grandson named him.

I just called mine Mr. Fishy. I have a 1 gallon tank with a filter for him and he lived a good long time. He would follow my finger around when I put it on the tank and when I came into the room he got excited. I made sure he was entertained! I kissed his poor little head before I buried him, he was such a good pet.

I had a fish that lived for four years! It was just a plain boring goldfish, but he was very friendly and would come to the top of the tank to talk to you when you came into the room. His name was Gilbert.... cos he had gills

Fabio ... hahahahahaa! He's not a hairy fish, is he? I think if I had a fish, I'd call him Physh. That sounds like a nice name, and when he told people, they'd remember his name easily AND know what he was! Bonus!
