You are walking down the street and all of a sudden there is this someone who is pissing on the corner and filling the air with a stink. In my country we have a enforced law that's against people taking a piss on the streets but still people keep doing it, i mean how healthy is that? How do you feel when you stand at the corner and take a piss, don't you think you are creating unhealthy environment to other people and even yourself?

I hate it!It is absolutely unhealthy for both the person and the community. All the people who do it never find a way to clean the leftovers. That is bad for their health. Moreover it is not a gentle habit.I can't understand how can humans act like animals. My state (Kerala in India)has got 100 percent literacy. But I can see a lot of people doing this unmanly act in the streets. They are least botherd about the people passing by.You can even see people pissing in the open place outside public toilets. What more ? I think they love to be open! Once, my friend pasted a cartoon poster which make fun of such people in a place where people used to piss. The cartoon was like this : A man is pissing publicly and a street dog is looking at him and wondering! That was enough, that cartoon talked to a lot of people, it reduced the frequency of the act into a tremendous level.

Sounds like your friend was really fed up with this behavior, and obviously there are hundreds of reasons why he should be, i mean when you come around a street corner you are "approached" by a stink of a urine and that's bad for everyone's health, including even the person who done it. But i think what i am sure is the fact this people are aware that it is not healthy to do something like that, but they continue to do it, and i mean how can you totally stop someone like that? someone who knows that what they are doing is wrong but then they just just keep on doing that bad thing? Is not that easy, i mean if you are given a task to do that you will finally give up

Sound like you guys there are living on a healthy environment and considering that it highly against the law But some place experience hectic situation when it comes to the control of that or making sure that...that law is effectively abide by all citizens But i also think that it is difficult for the patrol guys because they cannot be at every corner every now and then, just to catch this people

We don't really need patrol people everywhere. Normal citizens will report you for doing something like that, and then the police will come knocking at your door. I've heard of people that really had to go doing it in a back alley or something, but right there on the street for everyone to see, that's crazy. Only an animal would do that.

Yuck Yuck Yuck! Nooo, Doing the WEE in the street is unhealthy! The only people I have ever seen pee in the streets is drunk people who just left the bars and they need a place to go quickly. If somebody has to go pee and there is no public bathrooms then sometimes I can understand if somebody HAS to run out in a field and go, but if there are place's all around with restrooms then I don't see any reason why somebody should have to go potty in the streets or by some building corner. That's good that they have a law in you're country for people who like to go pee in public streets .

Yes, the law has been enforced but yet people take advantage that there can't always be police or patrol on the streets just waiting for them to piss and arrest them. But one thing i know is the fact that this people do know that it is against the law and unhealthy because then when there are law enforcers around you can't see anyone doing it. They know that is wrong but yet they do it, this thing make me angry when i see someone like that, and is like should i ask him if he is aware that what he is doing is unhealthy? and what if he say i know, will i ask him again why he then keep on doing it? That's too bad

i am from india and you can find a lot of people pissing on the streets. they dont care and in your country there is no rule as such. even if there was a rule no one would be bothered to follow it. as you can get out of most offenses without much effort in most cases. i hope the situation improves here and rules are enforced more strickly here. happy mylotting!!!!

That is just very annoying and disgusting. These people cant discipline themselves. There should be a law in every place not to that. It is very unsanitary really.

I think the law is only written on paper, but when it come to people to abide by that law...is like they say "piss off law, we piss here"ha!ha! some people are funny. I once came across a man who was drunk and i took advantage that he was drunk and he could do nothing to me, he was pissing on the street and i went straight to him and told him "your piss will make me sick, please drink it" and he said "i know this is unhealthy", and i asked why he keep doing it then and all he said was "what can i do"? People do know but is like they like living around unhealthy environment.

That dried piss is the one that is so dangerous to us and what's worse about it is that it will remain there and smelling for such a long time, even after some rain but still you will smell it when it is hot and can cause people to get sick Is such a shame to see someone doing things like this, and at first i go like should i tell this person that he is causing a danger to the society and on the second thought I'll be like no this person knows that what he is doing is dangerous but why he keep doing it.

We have the same enforced law for this in Sweden since a couple of years back. I feel this is like bad behavior. If there is a need and no bathroom in the nearest corner, they atleast should turn to a place where there is no people around. This is also unhelthy for our nature. There are places for this acts and I hope most of us use those places.

Yes the law is enforced but i think it should go down to us realizing that what we do is wrong, i mean the police cannot be hanging at corners waiting for people to piss and arrest them. I think we have to know that, but i believe that we do know that it is wrong but yet some of us keep on doing that act Is like we want people to teach us what we already know, i mean health services do tell us what we know "pissing on the streets is unhealthy and dangerous to the society" but yet we do it, whats that. I get very angry when i see someone pissing out on public

It's really unhealthy, unpleasant, and untidy for people to do this. Though there are several signage and even ordinances that prohibit people from pissing anywhere they want to, I guess, these undisciplined individual has a "low moral"

Unpleasant indeed, i just wonder how someone feels when the stand at the corner and piss right thereis he thinking about how other people will be affected? or does he think that he is doing a healthy thing? i guess not, but yet most people do it anyway.

In US culture, that would be something that only a drunk person would do. It is against the law here. I do know that in different cultures it can be more commonplace. I know that elevators in Singapore for example, have a sign in them stating that no one should urinate in an elevator! Apparently this must happen and a sign is necessary. In an elevator?! Yuck!!

I think pissing anywhere is against the law in most if not all parts of the world and i believe even the drunk can cause danger(health wise)to anyone around if they do something like that in public. But i think even the sober minded people will just do it anyway because maybe everyone is doing it and why he not? and the environment becomes totally unhealthy and causing danger to the society.

It is disgusting. I hate to see this and they do it in front of children, especially drunk people. My cousin did this years ago. He got caught by the police as he was drunk. He got taken to court for indecent exposure and fined. He deserved it too. It is disgusting and the smell.... It certainly does create an unhealthy enviroment. Who wants to see and smell that everywhere.

I hope your cousin learned a lesson and they made him realize how unhealthy and dangerous what he has done can be to other people and even himself. But even though the law is enforced against that act...still there are lot of people who will just do it anyway because there can't always be patrol people at every corner just waiting for people to piss and arrest them, i am sure there are lot of important things they can do. But the best thing they can do is let people know that what they are doing is bad pr unhealthy and can cause danger to other people, but if someone don't want to listen then we will still get this kind of things happening I think we as people should know that it is not healthy to do that, although the law can saw "we will arrest you if we catch you in act", i still feel that we are one's who should see that we are causing danger to other people

There is law that is against people doing this kind of business in public and it worse because the law cannot be at every corner waiting for someone to do their business and arrest them, and i also don't think someone will do that business if they see that the law is right there looking at them. But i wish if someone like that i caught then he must be sent to jail to show him that he is dangerous to other people and the society in general.

while disgusting and toxic, piss is sterile. you can't get sick from piss unless you drink it. however I feel that people should have more self control in an urban environment, and use bathrooms when able.
@loxion (1553)

Yes you cannot get sick from piss, but you can get very sick if you come across a corner and all the piss stink go straight into your nose, how will it be health-wise? sickness i guess. Even the law has been enforced worldwide against the act of pissing all over, but i feel that we as people should know that pissing anyway we want will cause danger and can make people sick

I never tried pissing on the street... and will never do that... i have too much pride and regard for myself to stoop down to that level... i hate it when i see men do such a thing... it is like they own that particular wall or street... and they have to regard for the health of others... There are also laws against such action here in my country... and urinals were built... but some people are just too stubborn...

Yes same as here but you still have people helping themselves on the streets, especially when they are drunk and i know that a drunk's urine is so strong as there are all the "chemicals" in there. Is like people just can't listen to what the health services says "anything that is unhealthy or considered to be unhealthy should be avoided.

I think they are dogs! They are dogs in human form! Imagine how they could just urinate anywhere without shame and not taking into consideration how they pollute the air. Tsk!Tsk!Tsk! Here in our country, there are also people like that and I wonder how they could not be decent enough to go and do that thing in the nearest comfort room or even do as the women do... to hold on their pee till they find the right place to release it. Hey dear! You've changed your Aviatar again! Where is the car...did you sell it already? Ha!ha!ha! Just kidding! Thanks for revealing your identity through your handsome photo. That is is better than hiding in a scary image. Cheers!

Yes dear i think this problem happen most with us men, is like we cannot handle it but then in reality that is possible, i mean if women can do it then whats wrong with us? I think even the law may be enforced against this kind of behavior but then i will go down to what people themselves want to care about their surroundings and most important their own health And about the Avatar thanks for those words, i really appreciate it, the car has been put on auction so it will no longer be available for sale over here

That's very unhealthy and unhygienic. We want to have a clean surrounding and yet someone would still urinate anywhere. I think I really needs to start from the person on proper manners. Its like pissing anywhere like dogs do.

Is like they are disobeying the law but most importantly the health of other ordinary people who use this streets everyday, imagine walking on the street and the air is fed with stink of urine, you can get sick at anytime. I think if people like that are caught in that act then they should face a hefty fine or send to jail for 3 months because i believe they are endangering other people's lives

I used to work in a place right across the street from a homeless shelter. A few times in the morning before the store opened I would show up and find one or two of them using our parking lot not only for #1 but for #2 as well. They complained to me as they ran away with their pants around their ankles and their willies flapping in the breeze that they had no where else to go. i directed them to the nearest set of bushes. That's a memory I would gladly wipe from my mind(no pun intended) if I could. I can understand it if you are homeless and the shelters are full but if you have a place to go and you choose not to go there because you are too ignorant, then at the very least you could find a discreet place to do so. Have you ever been walking down the street only to be overcome by the scent of stale urine? Disgusting! I can think of many animals that have better hygiene than someone who would stand on a street corner in full view of the public eye tha these people. No, not healthy at all.
