Look at the mirrow and appreciate yourself

The other day, one of my friends who worked in another city come to see me and stayed with me for one day. That night, before I was going to sleep, I suddenly realize that she had been looking at the mirror and admiring herself for more than one hour.
The next morning when I wake up, I saw she was already standing in front of the mirror looking at her own face.
I've never seen a person who appreciate herself in the mirror for such a long time. I just wake up and after I brush my teeth and wash my face, I would look at the mirrow for just some seconds to check whether everything is clean. But I never stay in front of mirrow for such a long time.
How about you? Look at youselves in the mirror for a long time?

Well i always look in the mirror but i dont do it in a long time, just glance to see if am still presentable. I am in a business sector i am dealing with constumer everyday and do interaction with them so i must be always presentable and looking fresh everytime to convince them to buy the product i sell. Happy posting

Every morning that I will wake up, I look at the mirror and fix myself. I am always admiring myself in front of the mirror and always says "What a beautiful creature I am. God is so good for giving me such a nice face." I think I just stay in a mirror for less than an hour sometimes. I am so careful with my face and I always want for others to see me in a beautiful face. I am curios regarding on that because the face is always the first one to notice.
Sometimes, I stay for more than an hour. When I was a student and have a reporting in class, I usually watch myself in front of the mirror and practice what will I say in front of the class. I also observe the way I smile and talk using a mirror.That way, I gain self confidence because I know I look nice to others.

Thanks for your sharing, annierose. From what you said I know that you are a girl who cares a lot about your appearance and your performance before other people, which I think is good. But to me, standing in front of the mirrow just watching and admiring youself is a waste of time. Of couse you waste less time than my friend whom I mentioned above. Why not go out and give other people more time to admire you.

At work whenever I got a chance I always go to the lady's room and look at the mirror how do I look like, and sometimes my colleague caught me and told me, oh you're vain. How long have you been looking at that mirror you didn't look different eversince I saw you and I just smiled at them. I like looking at myself in the mirror even if I don't do anything like combing my hair while looking at it.
