Anyone going to see Twilight?

So Twilight, the movie based on Stephenie Meyer' bestseller, is premiering tonight!!! It'll only open in theaters in the Philippines on the 26th though, which is a bummer. Still, I've been anticipating this movie and I will definitely buy tickets to see it. Is anyone else watching it? Or have you already seen it?

I'm not going to go so far as to say, I'm a crazy fan of the Twilight series, but yes, I do plan to watch the movie. I've read all four books (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn) I think the story is interesting, and I do find Edward fascinating. It's no Harry Potter, in my opinion, still it is a decent read and I was entertained. Maybe because I'm more used to adult PNR books, I find Twilight a little tame. I've read of hotter and sexier vampires than Edward, but he is sweet in his own way. Still, I can understand the attraction among teens. Yes, I'm definitely curious how the movie stands in comparison to the book. That I think is enough reason for me to check it out. However, I'll probably wait a week after it is released before I go to see it. I don't feel like battling a horde of sceaming teenagers...LOL..

The movie was a disappointment. Hopefully the sequel will be a lot better.

Well, the sequel has a different director and a bigger budget. Hope that will make a difference.

Yes, I think it would be better. The stars were okay anyway. I just didn't like how some scenes were shot!

I read somewhere that some people didn't like the new director. I didn't look it up, but I guess change is good!

I'm definitely going to watch this one. The movie trailer looks astoundingly beautiful I've been waiting from the very first time I took my eyes on it. Surely I'll be buying tickets for this one. Its a good thing you remind me of this movie, now I have to reset a date on the 26th so we could see it on the premier day. lol! I have an idea that there are going to be sequels to this movie (are there?). Please let me know. Thanks!

I'm so gonna watch this movie. I'm excited! But sad thing is, i'm from the Philippines so i guess i just have to wait. .. Oh well, it is still twilight. And i've become so addicted with you tube, watching stuffs about twilight. Haha!
