Hello dear mylotters! I just want to know who among you have read the book of Dan Brown entitled Deception Point? Have you finished the book? If so, did you enjoy it? Would you like it to be shown on the Big Screen/Cinemas? For me the book is awesome! It was great and I've told the entire story to my husband and sister. I told them that I wish someone would spend millions to finance the making of the movie Deception Point. The story is wonderful, full of excitement and lots of twist! If it will be on the Big Screen I'm sure it will be a big hit!

Deception Point was actually the first Dan Brown book I read, prior to Angels and Demons and Da Vinci Code. It will be a challenging for the Producer and Director to come up with a scene that perfectly describes that from the book.I think having the book transmogrified to the big screen is very timely. Without any budget constraints and with the perfect cast, I think I will be excited to watch Deception Point on the Big Screen. The next question will be: Among the actors/actresses, who will fit to be Rachel Sexton and Michael Tolland? Any ideas? Suggestions?

I think Amanda Tapping would be a good choice for Rachel! I don't know who would be a good Micheal. I would love to see a movie of this!

Wow I am glad because I am not the only one who wants that book to be on the big screen. I hope more readers will wish for that and I hope it will reach the rich producers from Hollywood so that they will do a movie. Of course we need the cooperation of Dan Brown with this. Hope he knows about it. Can't wait to see the movie in big screen and that would be one of my birthday wishes. I do not care who would play the roles as long as they will do what it takes to perform the character they will portray. And of course if they are famous then I would love that.

I liked the book and think it would be interesting to see a movie for it. I think that it would need the right director/producer/cast to be good. It is quite detailed, so without the right people to write the screenplay and direct it and stuff, it might not turn out well. Possibly with the success of Angels & Demons and The Da Vinci Code, they will consider making Deception Point a movie, too.

I could not put this book down. I started on a Friday afternoon and finished by the time I went to bed on Sunday. I even took it into the bathroom with me so I could read. I know that's gross. I loved it. I think it would make an excellent movie. I am a Dan Brown fan. I thought it was very suspenseful. I kind of figured there was a deception at some point, thus the name of the book. I didn't have a clue. Such a good book.

I totally agree!...I really wish they make a movie out of it. It's so brilliant, the details and everything. The events were so exciting and unpredictable. And as for the characters (only on my opinion...who looks best for the characters)...for: Norah Mangor - Amelia Warner (when she's blonde) Rachel Sexton - Kristen Bell Michael Tolland - Breckin Meyer or Gregory Smith(I don't know) Gabrielle Ash - Halle Berry Dr. Wailee Ming/Walter Ming - Daniel Henney (he comes to my mind whenever I read the name Dr. Wailee Ming) Marjorie Tench - [looks like] Susan Kellerman [when she was in 'Last Holiday'] Corky Marlinson - Nate Torrence Lawrence Ekstrom - Matt Damon (not really) ...like I said, only on my opinion and I can't find the right actors and actresses for the characters...I just hope they really make a movie out of it. Sorry for those who oppose...

I only actually thought about Daniel Henney as Wailee Ming and Susan Kellerman as Marjorie Tench...

I can imagine Oliver Platt as Corky Marlinson and Tom Skerritt as Pickering.

4, maybe 5 years ago the Dutch TV showed a movie completely after Dan Brown's book "Deception Point". I saw the movie and furthermore know 6 people who also saw the movie. I forgot if the movie had the same name. On the IMDB (Internet Movie Database its unknown). What's the name of this movie and where ca I find/buy it? Are they "hiding" this movie? It looks if it is withdrawn and every sign of it wiped out.
