good to have banana. but i don't know how good to have with the breakfast. as i heard that we should not have fruits with food/meal. this is because it is said to affect digestion of the food we have taken. doctors advice to take fruits 1 hr before or after meal and not with meals. just watch out for. might be search the net for more info. happy mylotting.

oh..That is true..I too have been told that it is not good to have fruits with a meal..But I think banana can be taken as a breakfast itself..no need for any other food as it meets up the calories and nutrients.

Me, me, me. I love a banana for breakfast. It helps with boring cereal and for all the reasons you name in your discussion. Thanks

I am always eating bananas! Whatever time of the day, because I train five times a week at the gym they are ideal energy food, great for building up energy and great for fuel to help the body work out! They are a great food for bodybuilders and they have a lot of goodness in them. They are also a rich source of potassium as well, roughage and not too high in calories either, hardly a junk food!

I am not in a 'habit' of eating a banana for breakfast but I sure do eat it because it is very nutritious and quite filling too. Whenever i am running short of time I grab for that banana and if possible , a cup full of milk too.
