Is friend important or family?

It depends upon the situation. Based on my experience it's more important if your family treats you as a friend, and your friend treats you as her or his own member of the family or family. I had an experienced during my difficult times when I had to undergo an operation, my family wasn't there at all, but my friends are there to help me and cheer me up that life goes on I need to survive!

Family is more important. They will be there no matter what. If you friend really is a close friend then they will never put you in position to decide between friend and family.

I think that in the end your family is what should be the most important. It is good to have friends that are reliable and that you can trust. However your close family is what keeps things going and they are there for you hopefully no matter what. Your family accepts you and so do your friends although I think that your relations with your parents can hold much more significance. It is good to be depending on both friends and your relatives.
