I am a Westlife fanatic and I want to know more about them. I've been a fan for more than 7 years. Can you continue this small Westlife History? Or you can also add anything you know about them. Westlife is an Irish pop band that was formed on July 3, 1998. They were signed on by Simon Cowell and are currently managed by Louis Walsh. Over the years, Westlife's music has evolved from teen pop to an adult contemporary sound, with an emphasis on ballads. The group's original lineup comprised Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, Shane Filan, and Brian McFadden. Filan and Feehily are the band's lead vocalists. All of the band members are songwriters, although most of their hits have been composed by external writers. What about you? What do you know about them?

I'm a big fan also of this boy band. Use to be really crazy over them but I'm glad it is over, I'm sane now hehe. What I know is that Kian, Shane and Mark are friends before Westlife. They are all from Sligo, Ireland. Nicky and Brian has been part of the group through audition. They are also called Westside before. I've been in their concerts twice here in our country. In their second concert I manage to get Nicky's, Mark's and Shane's autographs. It is still in my album of Westlife together with their concert pictures =)

Thanks for sharing your experience with Westlife and I envy you because you were able to get their autograph. Anyway I wish the band will be reunited and they will do albums again. I want the five of them and not just four. Thanks for the information.

It really seems incomplete without Bryan on the group. I hope they will be complete one day soon too. They are really good looking especially Brian. Nicky is the one I like but I have to agree Brian is the most eye catching ... LOL ... =)
