                    You can by "kickers" to put on the cow so that she can't kick when you're trying to milk her. You can also use a rope looped around the rear leg on the side where you are milking and pull that leg up - about the height of her belly - pull the rope over her back and tie securely to something to hold it/her there. This will hold the leg so that she can't kick you.
