once you get to stop schooling, what drives you to go back?

it's been a year that I have gone astray. I was about to enroll last semester after all those approval I got from the school administration for them to allow me to enroll but at the last minute, I decided not to proceed then. It's not because I feel lazy about school but there are just things that I have to consider before wasting time too precious to lose. Am I ready to go back? Will I be a diligent student again as I were when I have loved school? Can I handle three things at the same time: school, work and gigs? Am I ready to be the student I was and the teenager I almost forgot? In the last semester,I was rushing myself to do everything I want... getting a stable job, organize gigs, getting my own place, saving up for the car that I have been dreaming of having from my own money. I so have many plans that I was caught inside forgetting myself and what I should have been doing first. - GETTING BACK IN SCHOOL. Now, the prodigal student goes back to school with all the things she learned outside the four walls of the TV Laboratory.

I can think of two great reasons to go back to school- professional development and career changes. In today's unsteady economy, many individuals seek out new careers or advanced positions in their current industry. Lifelong learning is one thing that sets apart executives from mere employees. Education and experience are both critical. Plus, the more you know the more rewarding your job can be.

Yes, I agree with you. Currently, I have a job and a business but it never gets better when you're in school where someone like in my age should supposedly be at.

i understand your point exactly im actually at the point where i'm about to start college but do i give myself a year break or continue and get it over with?..my take i guess it has to do with the width and levels of one's attention span whether you can bare to endure years of one thing without getting completely tired of it and if you do stop will you have the determination to go back to the schooling phase or WILL MONEY KEEP YOU ENGAGED if of course you decided to work instead of school...its a tricky situation but i guess one would have to have a self intervention to solve this dilemma

I'm actually now in school.I just got myself enrolled back in school last week as the semester starts. It's really not about the money that keeps me away from school because I still get to work and earn even if I am in school. It's just that once you're out in the real world, you'll get to discover more than you did in the four walls of the classroom. But I guess I just love goign to school that even if there were a lot of temptations, I managed to have myself enrolled this time.

I am still in school, but I foresee myself leaving and coming back at some point and I think that thing that will cause me to come back is my genuine interest to learn.

yeah, one of reasons why I would love to go back is to finish my studies and lear. But things would be different when you get to taste the real world outside school.
