Do you buy a gift for yourself during the holidays?

Every christmas holidays, i give gifts to my wife, son, nieces and nephews, those who carol, my parents etc. but of course i always buy something for myself too. after getting year end bonus and the cash gift from the employers i usually go and buy the one that i fancy,last year it was a vacation with my family in Bagiuo, this year i plan to buy a bike "the kawasaki fury" to add to my collection because i like motorcycles very much. Sometimes i am impulsive and just buy something that interests me, then afterwards i scratch my head seeing most of my savings spent, however, as long as i see where my hard earned money went, i still feel good about it no regrets.
how about you? do you reward yourself with something by year end? How do you choose them? Happy holidays...:)

I would love to do that! I am just waiting for the bonus to be given. If there's an extra, definitely i will have to reward myself for the year's hard work. Do you have any suggestion? Like something to buy for myself?

Thats a really very hard question to answer, especially i dont know your likes and dislikes. What i can share you is my own way of choosing the reward i want for myself. As early as April i get ready and decide what is my goal for the year end. Of course i want it to be grand so in order to ensure that my money would be enough, i start saving. Next is to choose the specs of my goal, for example, i want a newer bike because my other bikes are outmodeled already so i go around bike stores andf find out the best that fits my taste. Then wait for the holidays to buy it. As for you buy something you are fancying or something very useful in your everyday life, it could be a gadget, a nice dress, jewelries, if you have the budget something expensive that makes your life easier. Better yet an investment. Its all up to you friend to choose. Happy posting :)

thanks for that! yes, i think it would be a gadget. i would like a newer model of cellphone. hhmmm.. you just gave me an idea. i would go to greenhills by the weekend and look for good buys.

I have never bought myself a gift during the holidays. I guess it is better to wait others to buy gifts for us! haha
But I would like to buy myself a gift some day!

oh yes it seemed to be a gift already buying yourself a thing you needed most for the occasion example a new dress to wear or an appliance you dream to have but most of the time you bought yourself lastly after buying gifts for all your loved ones.

I like to buy a gift from me to me! It is usually something only I can choose like a book or a cd. It makes me feel good and cheers me up.
