My grand daughter loves this store! So was I was walking down the mall I saw it for the first time and saw the sale Buy one get one free in the whole store. So I had to check it out. With the sale, things were okay - but without a sale boy is it expensive!! $40 for a pull over sweater style with a hood trimmed in fur - $40!!! (My GD is 8 years old) So I got her a jean skirt that was also $40 so they were $20 each. Which was reasonable as clothes are expensive these days but had it not been for the sale - good grief, you mean people really pay that much for kids clothes that they will only wear a short time before they grow out of them!

LOl oh yes.... people do that. And yes... kids outgrow those things sometimes even before they can wear them LOL I am always amazed at how expensive children's and baby's clothes are, it makes no sense to me, but it is a fact and they continue to be expensive because people do buy them ! Go figure :)

Those that buy - of course! Can't blame someone for making money - although preying on little kids to do it... that is not right.. but LImited Too doesn't force parents to swipte their debt cards... so when all is said and done - those that buy. Although those that wait till the sales come around - those are the smarties! This jacket I got my GD - pullover, kind of a thicker velor cotton with a hood, trimmed in white fur and fur at the cuffs - $39.50 regular! But BOGO free and I got a jean skirt (also $39.50! Are they nuts!!!!!) So $20 for each is not that bad especially for the pull over jacket. But I won't go higher than that and only did now cause it is christmas and she needs winter tops. I did stop at Mervyns today - 50% off everything and today additional 20$ off kids clothes so I got some bargains at 70% off! Hanna Montana for $7 - ever heard of such a thing!?!??! Then the toys were that too so I got $20 toys for $7 and $15 for $4.50! I have their birthdays for next year covered!... If I can wait that long - they are little fairys with coachs and a castle and both the girls love little fairies and I can get them for a buck at Dollar Store!!!

I know! Isn't that a crying shame that manufactures charge so high for infant and toddler clothes that are out grown so soon and hardly worn? I just don't understand why they take advantage of customers! But then again, if the customers buy it, guess they know which side of their bread is buttered! I have been looking in infants for a small pair of green overalls for a teddy bear - of course can't find anything but the colors apparently for this "season" are pink and brown and a pale sage green! For infants!!! How gross is that! And they are not cheap! What happened to baby colors!

WOW! I took my daughter into a Limited Too once (last year when she was seven) and after looking at the price tags, I let her know up front it was too expensive to buy there because she's growing so fast. She accepted that rationale but got over me anyway when we walked across the way to the Build-a-Bear workshop! I think JC Penny is the best place for shopping little girls price-wise. Cheers, Stan

ONly reason I as there is cause I walked by it and I know my 8 you GD loves it! I had to see why! I didn't see anything particularly different or special aobut what they had - frankly, Target has more options! But the BOGO free - things weren't to expensive. $20 for a fur lined, sweater with a hood and pockets - about average. I f it wasn't BOGO free, I would have walked out. THat is just to expensive. Stupidly expensives as apparently people are paying it as the store is still open!!

That people buy designer clothes for children amazes me. But then I grew up wearing my brother's hand-me downs and stuff mum sewed from the cloth bags they sold flour and animal feed in. I don't spend that much on my own clothes. I did find a great jacket on sale at Bealle's outlet recently, though. Listed at $45 and their price was under $10 and then the senior discount plus 20% off on the next purchase. That place rocks and most of the clothing is name brand. I get all my Mossimo T-shirts there.

I know! My daughter pays more than I think she should, and then I wonder if it is cause she wants to or is it because I had to raise her on a limite clothes budget nad she doesn't want her daughter to have to live like that. You know the, "I hated that as a kid and my kid isn't going to have to live like that",kind of thing. I did the best I could with what I had, but only time a name brand was in her closet was if it happened to be on the discount rack in my price range. Kids grow out of clothes so fast at this age, it is stupid to invest so much money on something that will be out grown, LONG before it is worn out. Only reasn I was at this shop was the BOGO free. $20 for a thick, fur lined, hooded sweater is pretty good -and it does have longer sleeves and I think she'll have to roll the cuffs up so she will get more wear out of it. Otherwise I wouldn't have done it at all!
