Caffeine or Bananafriction?

A couple of days ago, my partner and I were chatting about the game I play online: City of Heroes. It's a superhero thing. Our conversation moved from the game to an allegory with real life that we both found really interesting. I thought I would post it here for your consideration.
In the game, I have two characters who are very different. The first is 'Caffeine', a small, fast fighter (who stands for truth, justice and coffee, of course!) whoes dominant characteristic is that he recovers exceptionally quickly. That is, he gets hit a lot, but recovers quickly so notices it less. He drops targets fast and moves on.
The other character, 'Bananafricton' is bigger, more solid and slower, but he's very, very resistant to damage. He's the epitome of 'slow but sure': he can take on six enemies at once and survive it because it is extremely difficult to actually hurt him. It takes him a while to win, but he just won't break and fall over.
So, moving to the allegory part: if you think of these two characters as descriptions of a mental/emotional state, which would you rather be? Caffeine or Bananafriction? Would you rather move quickly in life, get hurt, get upset, recover quickly and move on? Or would you prefer to be the solid, steady, rock-like presence who resists pain and hurt?
