I belong to a baptist church and once a month we have a family breakfast. We had ours this morning.I asked the pastor for some scrapple and there was bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits, scrambled eggs, muffins, cinnamon buns, coffee, orange juice, grape juice, papya juice.YUM! Every Wednesday we have a dinner before service.Next Wednesday is our Thanksgiving eve dinner before service and communion.Do you have that king of fellowship at your church? What denomination is it?

i think that's very nice.that souds realy good. i don't go to church anymore. the church that i belong to has grown into a buisness as far as i am concerned. i like a small country church. i have a friend who goes to a small baptist church & is always asking me to come & i should go. i belong to the methodist church but have no problem w/going to others. i feel so bad when i first get up i can hardly go for awhile but i'm not making excuses.

Yes there is food at my church all the time! It's very nice of all those people who give to the church so all of this can be done. It shows that there still are some people left out there who still have some good in their heart. King of fellowship? I don't know? All I know is there is food at my church a pretty good lot of the time.

We do have meal fellowships in church after service but it is only on Mother's Day, Father's Day and Christmas. It is usually a pot bless where each person will bring a dish notifying the church administrator what we are bringing in advance. Its fun and I am looking forward to this Christmas' lunch fellowship after Christmas service. And we will be celebrating our church 12th annivesary on 1st Jan . There will be a dinner too. Its a grand celebration so I am looking forward to it.

I am a member of a Baptist church in New Jersey. We usually have food at church, if we are hosting an afternoon service. We usually have a prayer breakfast the Saturday before Easter. Every year before Thanksgiving we have a dinner and alternate with another Baptist church in the town. On December 13 we will be having our Christmas play and there will be food afterwards.
That is so nice that your church have these monthly dinners, it helps everyone out financially at least for one day.
Take care and God bless
