warning about combining herbs and prescription drugs

Here are three warnings about taking these herbs with medications. You can look on the internet for other warnings. I always look when I am starting to take a new prescription. ST. JOHN'S WORT. This mood-boosting herb is now taken by millions of Americans. But those who take it along with antidepressants like Prozac risk developing serious side effects -- including delirium. Be careful! GINKGO BILOBA. There's a bottle in front of me now. The label says "improves mental sharpness." But nowhere does it say what can happen when you take ginkgo biloba together with aspirin. Did you know this innocent-sounding duo has been linked to internal bleeding? And that leads to worse things. FOLIC ACID. It's included in practically every multivitamin. Why don't the labels tell you that it can interfere with anticancer drugs?
