I've decided...

I've decided I will intentionally not reach my minimum payout this month! Why? Well for one simple reason. That goal hangs upon us like a vulture, waiting for us to screw up. And I dont want this, so, Im taking this money I've earned so far into december when the minimum will be reached on the first or the second, since im not far from it anyway lol. And I want to see if mylotting has different feeling when you dont pursue that goal. Have fun all!

Just out of curiousity (since i just started the site about two hours ago), what is the minimum? Also, how much are we allocated per post and what are the easiest ways to make money quickly? I'm a master's student, so that whole money thing is hard to come by. Thanks.

Hello mojcica, I usually do not care how much I have on my balance at the moment. For me this balance not works like something what would urge me to be more active here. When I have the mood I write, if I am out of the mood I just simple do not know what to write and i do not write no matter if I would need just few comments to reach minimum. BTW I am near the minimum now and I think if I work as usual I can reach it with no problem, we will see, I will not push it. Happy Lotting:)

exactly dieorfly! and you know what.. there are some very good people i know here that can write one thread and make more than those $10 out of it ! not from mylot balance ofcourse.. but from the value of the thread itself..remember that when you talk on mylot you're probably talking to 152,000 person online..if you get it, you'll figure out that mylot is a treasure but needs to be treated right.

That is a personal decision. I hope it works for you. It will be a a nice way to start January when you receive the payment.

I find this very interesting. I have already reached my first minimum $10 payout after about 3 months since joining, so I am very excited for December 15th to get here so that I can experience what must surely be a very joyous feeling! ;) I am not sure what I will do after that, since I will have to start all over and earn $10 or more again from the very beginning. *LOL* I DO like that I will earn $17+ my first time around, since I finally reached $10 VERY early this month, and so have had the rest of the month to accumulate and add to it. ;) But I know that it will be a pain when my balance it is back at $0.00 again. ;( Even though I am wiser and smarter this time around about how to make quality posts and therefore it will take me less time to reach minimum payout the second time around, I do know that I will initially feel despair and desperation again at first. *LOL* So, I like your thinking. I will not rush or feel pressured. I will post as much as I can with only quality posts, and let the chips fall where they may. I like your way of thinking! :-)

Likewise, I have reach minimum already yesterday and I should have achieved it 3 days earlier but because of internet connections, I wasn't able to log on for 2 days. Now I have 4 days without any single penny earned. But the good thing is, you won't be able to experience having your balance back to $0.00 unless you stop posting here after the 30th of November. And if you still do post, your earnings will accumulate from previous months until such time it will be deducted with your November's payout. So, you already have started earning from more than 10 days of posting considering that the payout next month won't happen before December 10. You get the picture?

Very intresting for you, but I just started o this site and I realize I have no time to begin to think that I can get paid here! So I am just riding this out and seeing how the cards fall!

That isn't a bad financial decision actually; the markets seem to be still sliding down, so it is wise to bank money in places that you don't have it. Think of it as putting a five dollar bill in your pocket before you hang your winter coat up in the spring...that way, next fall, when you go to put it back on for the first time, you have a nice gift to yourself. I've got a bank account in Canada (from when I was in university) which I still have some money going into from an old job; I don't touch it, but when I go back at Christmas, I've got an extra $1,000 in there to spend that I will have basically forgotten I had.

That is an interesting way of looking at it. This is probably a really smart idea. Thanks for getting to look at this in a new way. Cheers and happy myLotting! :)

I really need that extra cash for the holidays. No it isn't a substantial amount but I would like to see it in December rather than in January when the holidays have passed already. Although I guess I could then use it to pay on my taxes.

Hello, mojcica. When you set a goal, whatever may it be, you have chances of succeeding and chances of failing. It is the same here in myLot. If you set the goal of reaching your minimum payout in a certain month, you can either succeed or fail. It will depend on you. You will have to work your way to reach your goal. I understand that you may think it would be easier to leave it for the next month. But then, you will be taking away one goal. Things would only get more interesting if you had that goal. You should not fear failing. If you fail, then you set your goal for the next month. I had this goal, and I failed. But now I am going to reach it this month. Now, if you are here more for fun than earnings, then you should take that goal off. Putting a goal and taking it too seriously might ruin things. Might get you worried and sad if you do not reach it. Just relax, keep posting, and watch your earnings increasing automatically. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

Hi there mojcica! That is not a bad decision if you will ask me. You are right, the goal hangs upon us like a vulture just waiting for us to screw up. I have given up the idea of reaching payout since last week due to a lot of things I need to attend to. I know very well that I won't be able to reach payout this month so I need not pressure myself to do so. I would just use the time to have fun. Just like you, I am not far from it too. First or second week of December sounds promising... Keep posting!

How could you take it by December if you won't reach minimum this month or at the cut off date? You have your own reason of intentionally doing it but your earnings would still be pending and you won't be able to get until January.
