Is our team manager just being friendly?

I have a crush on our team manager and he is already married with a newly born daughter. We became closer because I was the first agent he met when we were both trainees because the account that we have now is new in the company. He was traiend for the management postion while I was for agent position. I know he's really friendly to all agents but I find it unusual with the way he treats me. I even think that he favors me among his agents. Whenever we have a one on one meeting about my performance, we talk more about thigns that are not related to agenda and would just talk about anything we like and laugh as if we were the one persons around. and he always compliments me on how I look for the night and one time he wore a green shirt and said "oh, I thought you would be wearing green tonight that's why I am in green." because he knows that it's my favorite color. I have my nickname that people on the floor call me btu he would rather call me with a nickname that no one else call me. Well, is he really just being friendly to me?

It is hard to tell from what you say and without knowing him whether he is just being friendly or if there is more to it. I work in the public and there are some men that are very complimentary ...even kind of flirty but I know beyond a doubt they are very dedicated to their mates. Others are questionable. If I were you, I'd steer clear of this one. He is married and has a little child. It speaks volumes of his character if he'd be after another woman. I would not want to be a part of why that little girl does not have her family.

He's married. If he is interested, that is a very dangerous situation. Get out of that situation. It is not good. If you can't get past your feelings for him...ask to be transferred, or look for new employment. Good luck and God bless.
