Fine, don't believe me!

Tonight my mother, my sister and I went out. I had forgotten to bring back betta food for my fish and my sister needed to christmas shop and my mum just wanted a few things. Well, I'm not a big crowd person, I never have been and never will be a big fan of crowds. I can't even stand family reunions. I go and hide if I can. Anyway, the crowds in town were horrible because of the season shopping and I wasn't wearing the bast of shoes so I was just a little grumpy. I snapped at my sister and she snapped back and everything got a little out of hand so my mother got a little snippy. My sister went off to look at something she wanted to look at what she wanted and my mother made me look at shoes. Anyway, not fully my point. My point is sometimes I panic when I'm in crowds of too many people. Seasonal crowds especially because it's always worse. I always seem to get worse in crowds and my parents never seem to believe me about that. They keep telling me to suck it up because I'm going to have to deal with large crowds all the time. I know I'm going to deal with crowds, doesn't mean I'm going to like it. What hurts is my family doesn't believe me when I tell them this. Has anyone you've ever known never believed what you told them? Were they right or were they proven wrong?

NOBODY believed me when I told them I felt bad all the time. Well, first we nailed the allergies and I felt better for a while and then when I started feeling bad again, we found the fibro. HONESTLY, I don't think my brother really believe me yet.

fear of crowds is normal, so are people especially family doubting you for something they see as impossible or stupid. all that matters is the truth and as long as you know you are right they cant hurt you

Are you asking if they have believed me or not believed me? I have precisely the same problem as you do, and so does my husband. my mother didn't used to believe me at first, but now she does. My father still doesn't get it, and tells me to suck it up. Last year I passed out in the mall one day. A shame he wasn't there when I did that, or he might have believed it. LOL

I feel your pain. I hate crowds too. People always think that I'm just being mean, but it really gets me angry when I'm in big crowds. I try to tell them, but once I get mad and finally snap, everyone thinks I'm crazy. I dunno, sometimes it's best to keep things to yourself, because people don't wanna listen.
