What would you do in your spare time? I'd read more, novels are awesome, especially when they suck you in.

This is a good question! Oh, if the Internet did not exist, I think I'll be watching TV now or reading. I'd definitely have more time for other things and I would also help out around the house more often. =) The Internet has many ways of keeping me busy like blogging, checking e-mails, doing paid posts, participating in myLot, chatting with friends, etc. There are endless of things to do online. And yet keeps us from doing other things, which are just as useful and fun. The Internet is quite addicting and I admit I'm quite addicted to it. If I've been online for many hours, my mom will nag at me to get offline. Haha! If she didn't call me to get off, I think I'll be stuck in front of the computer for days and the Internet bill will go soaring high up the sky! I think we just have to divide our time wisely. Put aside some time for the Internet and time for other things too. I was not really bothered and I spent whatever available time I had to go online. I even neglected my story books, which I used to can't keep my hands off last time. Now, I just can't wait to go online. Your question is an eye-opener. It will make people realize that they should have a life somewhere else besides the Internet.

I myself spend way to much time online. I recently re-arranged my living room, so I've been away from the internet because I've been cleaning. Thanks for your response!

Well what about hobbies this is indeed a pleasant subject for me to talk about. I love my free time. I am loving it because i have enough for everything i want to do. Can't imagine what this world would have done without having it's hobbies. There are a lot of them and the most common one are the one in which you get a lot involved and you like what you are doing. My personal favorite hobbies are the collecting of stamps, collecting old coins, playing football, playing tennis table and a lot of other hobbies more and more interesting. It is good for a person to have a hobby because it can develop certain skills which surely will help in the life. Everyone should have a hobby at least and give it the importance it has. Hobbies are great!! What can i advice you.. if you don't have a hobby make one!

I think that people have become lazy, in a way, because of the internet. Of course people will always try to find a way to be lazy, but the internet doesn't help. Thanks for responding.

You can always listen to the internet radio too. So there are two things you can do. Hey, you can even find tv shows online. So there we go, you can do all that and be online at the same time! Thanks for responding.

If I wasn't online as much I'd be on the phone alot more or reading. I haven't read a good book in the longest time. I believe that has alot to do with me spending all my time online.

I understand that. May I suggest a good book to you? Read the book Eragon. It's about a boy who finds a dragon and goes on a quest to overthrow the evil king. It's a trilogy, but it is so worth it. Thanks for responding.

Iwould have spend my most of the time with my musical instruments 1 Love playing musical instruments, I play guitar, Key board, Mouth organ , flute etc. All these instruments I play for pure pleasure and I have taken playing these instruments as my hobby! Music itself is a remeady for most of youe mental discomfort and creating your favarite music is nothing but simply agreat thrill which you can't explain in words ! Still today inspite of such a tight schedule I still try to take out some time for playing my instruments !

I would definitely be reading more books. I used to read a book in 1 or 2 days; now it takes me at least a week to read one book. I take a book with me everywhere I go, just in case I can read a page or two. I would probably get outside more to interact with my neighbors. I spend way too much time inside at the computer now.

I dont use the internet much at home really except for checking emails and downloading stuff, but I use it all the time at work when I have nothing to do....so I have no idea what I would do! It's kinda hard to pretend I'm busy if I'm reading a book lol

You enjoy the same authors I do. I can't get enough of their books. I still can't believe Anne Rice isn't going to write about vampires or witches anymore. Thanks for responding.
